Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary Club was organized on March 26, 1999 by the Lee's Summit Rotary Club. As a breakfast club it attracts members who live or work in Lee's Summit. Over the years we have developed a reputation for local and international service. Our club, as a way to fund the impactful local community and international service and educational projects, hosts several annual fundraisers, including Feed Lee's Summit (formerly Empty Bowls) and our Fly A Flag Program.

Another significant endeavor of Rotary is our participation in the Rotary International Group Study Exchange (GSE), where we have hosted friends from many countries around the world.

Since our charter in 1999 the Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary Club has supported the following organizations with service projects, cash and in-kind donations totaling in excess of $819,500.
